About the project

SleepAir managed its Hungarian and Slovakian operations through two independent WooCommerce stores. This setup duplicated management tasks, increased maintenance requirements and made adding new features and integrations more complex.

The goal was to consolidate both stores into a single Shopify platform while maintaining a shopping experience tailored to each country. Using Shopify Markets, we configured independent markets for Hungary and Slovakia, each with its own domain, language, currency, prices, payment methods and shipping options.

The migration included more than 70,000 orders, the complete product catalogue, blog content, reviews and other essential data required to preserve the brand’s operational and commercial continuity.

More than a migration

This project involved much more than transferring data from WooCommerce. We needed to create an architecture that would allow SleepAir to manage both countries from a single Shopify admin while retaining the flexibility required by each market.

We integrated Shopify with SleepAir’s payment, invoicing, shipping and fulfilment providers. We also implemented commercial features such as product bundles, quantity discounts, customer reviews, email marketing, affiliate management and analytics tools.

The result is a centralised platform that is easier to manage and ready to support expansion into new markets. SleepAir can control its catalogue, orders, promotions and integrations from a single store, while customers shop in the language and currency appropriate to their country.

We continue to work with the SleepAir team on the ongoing development of the store, implementing improvements, new integrations and optimisations designed to simplify management and enhance the shopping experience.
